The Addition of crosshairs that change color based on what is being displayed on screen would be nice.
For example if im looking at a blue sky with a blue crosshair it would change to another color that sticks out more. Or if it is night time in a game and i have a black crosshair it would change to white or something.

Sounds quite resource intensive to me, and would require either hooking into the game files rendering engine, which is very difficult and has already been ruled out by this project. Or it would require reading the raw screen which is quite a messy way of doing things but again seems quite resource intensive.
Of course I'm not the dev so I can't say for certain but it's unlikely that this would become a feature in my humble opinion
