When opening very large repositories, such as the Rust source code itself, gview becomes very slow and unresponsive.
The goal of this issue is to improve performance so that the application remains responsive even with large repos.
Currently, we have not measured where the performance bottlenecks are — your first step will be to profile and identify the slow parts.
You do not need to fix everything in one go. Please gradually improve the parts you find and make incremental performance improvements.
