Dependencies

The following dependencies must be satisfied in order to run Outspline:

• Python 2.7 or greater, but less than 3.0
• wxPython 3.0.0.0 or greater

Optionally, installing the following libraries will enable some features:

• To prevent opening multiple instances with the same configuration file:

  • Python 2 bindings for DBUS (python2-dbus)
  • GLib bindings for DBUS (dbus-glib)

• For desktop notifications (notify plugin):

  • libnotify
  • Python 2 bindings for GObject (python2-gobject)
