[Bug]: Cannot open Kunkun on Ubuntu

Describe the bug

After installing Kunkun with apt using the .deb package, I cannot open it. The first time I tried I saw a white window and nothing happened. After closing this and trying to open via GNOME Activites, nothing happened. When I try to open Kunkun from the command line, I get KUNKUN_PUBLISH: true , but nothing else happens.

Expected behavior

I can open Kunkun via GNOME Activities or command line.

after sudo apt install libxdo3 I got:

I encountered the exact same error message in fedora installing the application with dnf. I ended up needing to install xdotool. After sudo dn install xdotool kunkun was able to launch.

Should this dependency be called out in the README? Feels very critical to having a successful install on linux distros.

Same here.
Kunkun is version 0.1.37 installed from a .deb file.
I'm using Elementary OS 8 (based on Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS), with all updates as of the time I'm writing this.
Starting it from a terminal, I get this error message:
[Bug]: kunkun: error while loading shared libraries: libxdo.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
