Is Gateway supported?

I run IntelliJ through Gateway on a remote machine. I tried installing the plugin on the Host, Client, and both the Host and client; but have never been able to get it to work.

Right clicking the console and selecting "Grep" or "Add Grep" seems to result in nothing happening. I checked the local and host log files and nothing relating to GrepConsole appears.

It is likely this happens because Gateway is a half-baked product with a lot of bugs, but I wanted to see if anyone else has tried it.
