Adding the network monitor applet to latte makes it crash

I am trying to add the network monitor applet to latte dock (https://github.com/psifidotos/Latte-Dock), but the applet makes latte to crash at adding, and afterwards at latte startup.

I first filled this issue at latte's side

For your convenience, I copy here what I get from ddd:

ddd also opens a popup window saying qqmlincubator.cpp file or directory does not exist (or alike, translating)

Latte's main developer thinks the applet somehow fails due to early removal or activation from a delegatemodel or xmllistmodel...

Could you please check this out?

Suprisingly, I did add the applet again to latte, but this time to the side panel instead of top panel, and it worked!

So, it's very weird, the applet does not like the top panel in latte, it works in plasma, and it is not due to the icon size, both side and top panel tested with the same size in latte, one works and the other fails.

Hope this helps to figure out what is going wrong here, whether in latte or in the applet...
