Background

This is the new home of NodeServices. The first goal of this project is to remove all dependency on Microsoft and spin this off into a community project. :-)

Tasks

This is the first open source project that I attempt to administer, so I very much welcome your help! In terms of immediate tasks, I'm thinking along the lines of:

• Get XUnit working and make all tests pass
• Remove Microsoft.AspNetCore namespace prefix and make it Koopla.NodeServices
• Update documentation
• Once everything above is done, publish on NuGet

Have you considered making the project part of the .NET Foundation? I'm not quite sure how that works, but there's a bunch of non-Microsoft projects that are part of the foundation: https://dotnetfoundation.org/projects

I'd like to help anyway that I can with this project. By the way, is there an interest in moving SpaServices as well? It's also being obsoleted along with NodeServices.

There's a project similar to NodeServices as mentioned here. Maybe we could collaborate with them.

Hopefully atleast the basic Webpack middleware solution, since that's what a lot of people seem to be asking for. Possibly moreso than the ability to do basic Node.js RPC.

I already found myself taking a fork of the aspnet-webpack NPM package, as it doesn't handle Webpack multi-compiler mode the way it should and I'll need a fix for it. I'm considering to also snap on some rubber gloves and sanitize Microsoft's work there, while I'm at it.
