Description
What is your feature idea?
I became aware of your project yesterday via the Kubelist podcast and went through exactly this process of months of trying and testing various Kubernetes components. My current plan (still in the planning and testing phase) would be to run Kubernetes directly on barebone servers from Hetzner (a hosting provider from Germany, where we already have our Docker Swarm cluster) and for Kubernetes I would have gone for RKE2 because it is similar to K3S but more production ready and hardened.
Would you be interested in RKE2 support or do you not see a general need for it?
Perhaps K3S would be more than sufficient in my case. We currently have a Docker Swarm cluster of 17 nodes (282 CPU, 3TB Ram) and 5k containers.
Why is it needed?
RKE2 could be a good option for a Kubernetes distribution that is as easy to install and update as K3S but also hardened and enterprise ready.
Is this missing feature preventing you from using kubefirst?
- Yes
