script.skin.helper.service not working as a dependency

When I try and install Titan Mod Skin, the above dependency is required script.skin.helper.service but it doesn't install it so the skin can't be installed. Is there a way to update the dependency?

Hello, I had a similar problem while trying to install eminence skin that was not kodi 21 ready yet. What I had to do:
In Kodi you go to configure skin > necessary extensions/scripts. You will have to install all what is red crossed. Be careful because the thing is that some scripts won't install if an other script from the list is not already installed. You will have to check and redo the thing (you see..) .So I installed maximum of scripts from here. BUT one of them i could not be able to install: script.skin.helper.service. with an error that tells it needs another script to install it. And this last script needs another script to be able to install...and so on. This is better to read Kodi log to see the error you got even if you can see the error directly on the kodi screen. For me it was:

error <general>: CAddonInstallJob[script.skin.helper.service]: La dépendance de script.module.metadatautils version 1.20.1 n'a pas pu être satisfaite.

So i had to install "script.module.metadatautils" but it fails because it was missing another dependency.
I had to install in order:
