Integrating incremental-module-builder with jenkins

How can I enable this plugin to work with Jenkins? I have set up the Jenkins as per the instructions but still, the Jenkins build is not using the extensions.xml hence unable to use this plugin

I would also be interested in the answer? As far as I understand the plugin will only find changes that are found by "git status" and thus only detects changes "differences between the index file and the current HEAD commit". On Jenkins, where a project is read from git, no differences are found by a new incoming commit and makes the plugin not usable there. Right?
