A few things to improve.

Enable login and importing playlists.
Enable playing videos.
Enable multiple queues.

Those would help to make the app much better than it already is.

Well, you can enqueue multiple playlist together.
Start playing and then tap the menu icon on other playlist.
there'll be an enqueue option

Thanks, that is helpful indeed.

However having multiple queues is different in that you can create them according to different musical genres or artists for example and it would allow one to switch queues.

This is helpful to stay organized and not have playlists that are too long and tedious to browse through and therefore makes locating what one wants to play easier. I am speaking from the perspective of having many hundreds of songs enqueued for different artists, genres, etc.

Having all those in one queue can be cumbersome so having different queues would alleviate this problem.

My suggestion would just be to add compatibility with the keyboard buttons to pause to go to the next song. At least on Linux Mint, that doesn't seem to work for me today. tks

by keyboard buttons do you mean Fn + F3 etc buttons.
they should be handled by mpris media service
check your notification area if you see the player controls there.

also are you using gnome or cinnamon. Seems like distro specific
