npm install fails

I have attached build log.

I forked the repo and did a npm install and got the following errors:

I hd the same issue and I'm assuming it needs an older version of node, but could not find out which since no version is specified.
I tried using node 10 and while I still got some errors, I was able to build the package and serve the demo.
