I'm mostly up and running with Rev_2 on my original ender3 (using Klipper) but noticed a couple of things as I went through the process...
instructions for Rev_2 do not include what height to set the Probe_Retainer
I'm currently using 3mm above bed
unclear how to set z_offset
Initially I homed x+y+z and then stepped z down at the bed center until I could slide paper between nozzle and bed. I then used this offset value in the config for z_offset in [probe] but I then repeated this after restarting Klipper and got a different result. Currently I've just used Tune>Offset via the menu to step it down to the same spot but I think I'll loose this on a power cycle. Any thoughts?
That said, so far it works like a charm and really great work. Thx!
