Master password disappearing after a while

Hi,
I see this feature was added in #6817 but I find it sometimes really annoying. I have 2 computers, one is my office computer (as I work remotely) and the other one is my personal computer. And when I type in the master password to unlock a database it usually takes a few seconds, during this time I switch to the other computer or I just simply alt tab somewhere else, then I go back to KeePassXC and it seems I entered my master password incorrectly as it's not open and I can't correct it as it's already gone, master password field is empty.

My master password is around 80 chars long on one PC and maybe 30-40 chars long on the other computer, is there a way to add a checkbox, a switch to disable this feature? Or alternatively increase the timeout to 10-15 mins?

No this is a builtin security control. You really should decrease your master password length. Anything over 25 characters is overkill, especially with argon2.

Kinda abstract question but what about future computers? Will some computer built in 2040 or later be able to brute-force and crack such a database created nowadays?

If you are even using the same websites in 2040... but the answer is no and you absolutely don't have to worry about that.
