No command box when opening gw on mac install via homebrew

Sorry if this is a silly question but trying gw for the first time on mac and I can see no command box to do anything? Is this right? The documentation seems to suggest I should see a command box?

Hi @morriso1,

Yes this looks normal!

To get the command box, either press / key and start typing, or move the mouse to the left-hand side of the screen and you should see a cog + bubble. Clicking on the bubble will show a small menu of options/commands.

Pressing / and tying a genome location e.g. chr1:1-20000 will navigate to that position.

For a more detailed list of commands type help and some text will be printed to the terminal. Also you can type help [command-name] to get a more detailed help message, for example help filter will show the manual for the filter command.

ah awesome, thank you. I see now using/ is listed in the quick start. I mistakenly started with the tutorial rather than the quick start and so missed this. Thanks!
