input files for fviz_nbclust function

hi,
this is not an issue but a question about the inputs of fviz_nbclust function.
I am using fviz_nbclust function to detect how many cluster do I need to divide my data and my input (X) is a binary matrix with 860 samples and 15800 gene. Can I gave this function only a similarity measurement as an input without my binary matrix (860*860) I saw that diss object also be given to the fviz_nbclust function but should I gave it with my actual data or can I gave it alone? Is this the right usage of this function?
