Just a comment. I think the menu structure under files is a bit cumbersome. File -> already contains many entries and an extra half-dozen from Batcher looks terrible. Easy for those with an editor to change the registration but not for all. I have this, maybe trimmed a bit much, but it is tidier.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I agree that having extra 9 entries under File looks really bad 😅 Ideally, the entries should be moved under a single submenu. However, there is no way currently in GIMP to create a submenu at any position other than at the very bottom. In case of File, it would be placed just below Quit, which would be hard to discover and users could quite often accidentally click on Quit.

I understand that all the menu entries can be moved under Tools - however, for consistency with other image editing software (Photoshop, IrfanView, ...) that put batch processing/automation options under File, I would also prefer to keep it there (also since most of the Batcher entries revolve around exporting files).

I will open an issue for GIMP to allow plug-ins to add submenus under any section at some point.
