Using apply vs calling the function normally.

Why do we need to invoke the function return curried.apply(this, mergeArgs(sanitizedArgs, nextArgs)); in this manner and why can't we just call it directly like- curried(mergeArgs(sanitizedArgs, nextArgs))

Thanks for initiating discussion.
The reason lies in my preference of passing arguments at that time.

The curried function doesn't know the number of arguments it will have so I used apply method to spread the array values into individual arguments. You may want to use the without apply method but then you need to spread them out as individual arguments by yourself (check sample bin).

The alternative is curried(...mergeArgs(sanitizedArgs, nextArgs))
