Preserve blank lines?

This is more of a question than an issue, but I couldn't find a better place to ask it:

Would you consider it within the scope of node-comment-json to parse/write other kinds of trivia besides comments, such as blank lines?

I have a JSONC file which has some blank lines in it to improve its readability. I'd like to programmatically manipulate that file, and ideally the output wouldn't end up all smushed together.

Anyway, figured I'd ask before I start digging in to see if this is feasible to implement. Thanks for the useful package!

I have need for this feature too, as my tsconfig files are written like this:
