@iyxx37 you may find some of your questions answered and a little more detail about how to perform an initial install and setup of the RRF in this Core-R-θ Wiki section on Fly E3 Pro V3 setup. The guide explains how to use the Team Gloomy documentation and the firmware configuration files for the Core-R-θ to determine how the drives and fans are mapped. Note the wiki needs updating, refer to to4axis.g in the section on drive mapping if using the printer in non-planar 4 axis (normal Core-R-θ XZBC mode i.e. output of S4 slicer) and topolar.g if using printer in conventional XYZ mode (i.e. conventional slicer output). The Fly E3 Ultra setup should be the same, however be sure to access the Team Gloomy Fly E3 Pro Ultra pages vs the Pro V3 pages. Also note, if you are getting a Fly E3 Ultra, be sure to also order the Esp32 Board For RRF option as well in order to have ethernet/wifi connectivity if you intend to run headless operation via Duet Web Control which is recommended. |
