I added this to my main config.toml file and the one in themes/LoveIt-0.2.11, but must not have entered it in the right place. I'd appreciate any tips or feedback

I think the issue is you have placed [[params.plugins.css]] out of sequence with the other param sections. Observe that [params.header.title] comes after [params.header] which comes after [params]. Place the css section after the first [params] section, specifically after authorName = "jeffrin" and I think that will pick it up.

thanks for pointing that out. i moved [[params.plugins.css]] and updated themes/LoveIt-0.2.11/assets/data/social.yml.

now i have a clickable space on jeffrin.com where the icon is, but the icon is invisible. any suggestions? thank you for taking a look

Looks to me like this file needs a bluesky entry:
