Sounds good - I'd also love to hear ideas from others on the project on what we should talk about, how to structure it, etc. If other folks have things you'd like @rowanc1 and I to consider or discuss, please share here.

I would love to detail the versality of jb2/myst: scientific articles, documentation, cv, python exams as print, books, personal website... and probably much more that hasnt been thought of...

Rowan and I discussed briefly and this is a rough idea for how we'll do this:

• Rowan and I will shoot for a 50/50 split on the talk.
• I'll cover more design and principles, he'll cover more of the examples that highlight the principles in action
• @choldgraf will create a skeleton slides deck using sections from the paper, share w/ @rowanc1
• Have a little async discussion to make sure it feels right
• Potentially meet next week to discuss anything that needs in-depth refinement

I've made a bit of progress on this - here are some updates:

• I've created skeleton slides for the talk
• I built sections that basically follow the same structure as the paper. There's a structure planning slide at the top to describe the general idea.
• I've filled in content from sections that remixed old slides, just to give us a starting point.

A few points about how to move forward:

• There are still many things that need to be improved!
• I'm not married to any of this, I'm fine changing structure or content.
• @rowanc1 - could you tag any slides or sections that you want to push forward on and I can focus on others?
• I'm free to chat tomorrow or Friday (w/ @rowanc1 or anybody else)!

Quick look looks good. I will be working on this on Friday and bring some use cases examples in, esp. more from the publishing side.

@rowanc1 to that point, I'll try to add in a section that makes the point about MyST being a flexible engine/tool that can be used in multiple use-cases, and perhaps you can use that as a starting point to give the example of curvenote's publishing solution and the scipy proceedings? I think that'd also help the audience understand the differences between JB and the MyST engine and could be a nice way to drive some attention to y'all along the way
