.rc useful function to search and open with one alias

I though of "search and open" -> seop, so to avoid typing the whole command I wrote a function that does it for me:

seop() { filefzf=$(fzf --preview 'cat {}'); if [ -n "$filefzf" ]; then vim "$filefzf"; else echo "Nothing selected"; fi }

plus, ngl I have found it useful that the last file I have edited with this I can just reference it with $filefzf e.g. echo $filefzf and get the relative path.
