Thanks for reporting the issue. While this could be mitigated on 7th, unfortunately we can't do much on the FFNx side as the drive is indipendent of Steam ( as it can use be used also with the 1998 edition of the game ). I'd invite you to approach us via Discord in order to better analyze this case and what we could do, as the link has already been taken down by Google ( probably because it detects it for what it is ) and there's no way for us to download the file. Thanks again for the heads up, really appreciated. |

Hello, dear developers.
I found that some pirates use a cracked steamapi.dll to crack the Steam version FF7, and steal our mods to make money. It bypasses detection by FFNx and 7th Heaven, allowing mod-equipped games to run.
Is there a way to stop this cracked steamapi.dll from launching the game through FFNx and 7th Heaven?
