[ FF8 ] Crash on new save #787

Hello, I tried installing the mod and had a few issues, first trying my old save I couldn't change the discs to disc 3 so I was basically locked out of the save, so I thought that's whatever I like the game so I'll just start a new save but as soon as I click new game the game crashes; I've attached the crash log below. Thanks! |

Hello, I'm not sure which kind of installation you have at the moment but something doesn't look right here. In theory you are using the Steam edition but it is looking for a CD, which should not. Is this a legit copy of the Steam game or is this a pirated one? If the latter, I'm sorry but we support only the legit version. If it's the legit one from Steam, then I'd suggest using a clean installation as something you did there doesn't match up so looks like a broken installation. Cheers. |
