Hi.
We have new options in Media Manager on files.
But now I see deficiencies.
Although I throw pdf, I can still throw it in images or should there be a mechanism that would inform you that I throw into images how do I have files?
When adding a file to the "Image" tab, display the warning if the type is, for example, pdf or docx.
Automatic transfer of such files to the "Files" tab or offer the user selection (graphics or document).
The second thing Tinymce should be more UX relative to images and files.
I ask every new customer if he can add paintings on TinyMCE, everyone says that clicks on the picture in the belt but there cannot add or choose there.
So this is a problem, and it should be changed.
Divide the list of folders into two areas (open directly):
📁 Pictures → /Images
📄 Files → /files
The second issue of images and files should be drawn from CMS Content is hidden to the user.
CMS Content says nothing that there is something that will allow us to do the above actions.
This should be called in my opinion
Content add-ons
I add two screenshots to better understood.
Maybe is not too late to FIX this?
Another way many people still will be used JCE, but if we want improve Joomla time to think how to make bater User experiences.
