Joomla is not a friendly CMS, now there will be about 5 or 10 developers who will tell you that you should use template overrides, third-party extensions and other user-unfriendly nonsense.
Any appeals to common sense here end in mass hatred towards anyone who calls for making the CMS more user-friendly. you'll be lucky if they add your feature because if they're in a bad mood they'll tell you WHO should develop it or who should PAY for it. |

Steps to reproduce the issue
When I add an image to a Joomla article, under Articles>New>Images and Links, there is a field called Image Class where you enter instructions like float-left, float-end, float-start etc, to control the position of the image in the article. As a new user to Joomla (migrating from Wordpress) this took a while to figure out. I
Desired result
I think it would be good if there was a drop-down menu called 'Position', rather than Image Class, that had simple instructions like left, right, center etc for controlling the position of the image in the article. Perhaps the field could also allow text entry for people to insert custom CSS or could still keep the Image Class field for this purpose.
