I had tested it only in modules, assuming you have a module called mod_awesome, when activating the Joomla cache a folder with the same name is created inside cache/mod_awesome, this can also happen when you decide to store temporary css files or thumbnails of module in the joomla cache folder.
In Joomla 3 when you edit the module by pressing the Save or Save & Close button, the module folder is removed from the cache, but in Joomla 4 it is not removed. Why?
