Custom fields for modules

I would like to have custom fields for modules, too. - Similar to articles.
My idea is to be able to extend existing modules - at least the core modules (e.g., mod_custom) with any kind of backend input field (custom field) and to use them in overrides.

You can use the extension Advanced Module Manager by Regular Labs for this. It has this feature
