Add helper functions to the build #435
Description
I have a plugin that uses a bunch of the helper functions. I've noticed that in V2 these helper function are no longer part of the build. I'd be happy to jump in and add these. Or, if size is a concern, we could create an external repository and add them as a dependency. Let me know how you would like to proceed, happy to contribute.
