Hi! Thank you for the report. Just tested with my hardware (Simcom 7600 G-H on Waveshare board) at default baudrate and it seems to work fine. Can you provide more info about the error and the hardware?

If you are using the library alongside sim-modem-cli, you can get the model info with the command
sim-modem-cli get-model-identification /dev/ttyUSBx
