Hello,

I'm pleased to present the 1st integration of “AI-on-the-edge-device” with home-assistant.io.

It's still in alpha stage, but you can already separate yourself from the MQTT layer to retrieve information from your devices in hassio.

For the time, the features available are :

• integration as a value (energy)
• Attributes : Value, Raw, Pre, Error, Rate, Timestamp, Last updated, Current raw value
• Full logging
• Image backup

What are the advantages compared to the provided MQTT Discovery functionality?
Are there users of HA who do not have a MQTT broker running?

I have a mqtt broker only for AI-on-the-edge.
All my others IOT devices runs other protocols like zigbee, matters or have dedicated hassio component.

With a python component, the development phases are much faster and users can integrate new functionnalities like double checking the IA output in case of error.

The next step of this component is to send images to xxx for improving the AI recognition with real user data.

It can also fine tune the error handling, take custom actions or everything an esp32 board cannot
