Slow performance #1142

Is there an existing issue for this?

The issue occurs in the following browsers. Select at least 2.
- Firefox
- Chrome
- Edge
- Safari (unsupported) - PRs welcome
- N/A - This is an issue with the backend
Current Behavior
When updating a record it takes a very long time to get the handle back to the application.
I am running NAX in a docker container without any limits on resources.
Expected Behavior
In a system that is has been idle for some time, if I click on an entry within the devices, I should expect some kind of response. Now I got stuck with a 'refreshing' spinner and the app freezes up.
