Hi @SomeAssembly , This is not explicitly documented, but you can find the logic here: https://github.com/jokob-sk/NetAlertX/blob/main/server/scan/device_handling.py However, @slammingprogramming was working on improving this in his fork here: https://github.com/slammingprogramming/NetAlertX Waiting for this to be tested and merged back into main, which will hopefully improve on the discovery. I will look into this when I have time, this is likely simply to do with the simple classification methods involved in the code of device_handling.py can you provide me some information about the device(s) in question? Manufacturer, model, type of device, MAC address, hostname, and ip address would help me implement your specific case into my fork adjustments. |

I am experiencing some devices being labeled as "Phone" when they are actually Google displays. Some of the labels are correct on other devices. Is there a place when I can learn more about how this works. I can manually change the labels; but will they be overwritten by the automatic routine? Please, anyone point me in the right direction.
