@johnpeterman72 really great to use compared to others available. I did have a question though about best practise.
I followed the instructions, installed and followed https://github.com/johnpeterman72/CursorRIPER/blob/main/docs/riper-workflow-guide.md and jumped in between the different modes getting to a point of execution. I was using the same chat window, and it appeared to be following the course.

I did notice a few things though. I asked it to investigate existing code, deep dive, advise best practise, come up with a way forward, itemise it and come up with a checklist, and then execute.

Execute appeared to go well, until I logged in and checked, and functions that were working before are now broken, and other sections disconnected eg the admin section, which was working before.

How do you keep this on track still? 95% i will say it was good, and worked well, but then broke things as it changed things and tried to implement features.

Some guidance is appreciated. Great work!

Take a look at the Sigma version. I addressed this issue with a protection mode. It adds comments in the code to tell the AI not to touch this code. For me I would add error checking code and Claude would strip it out. It's a big problem. I'll be updating this version to include the protection as well in the next few days.

Hope you are well John. Did you manage to update this with the new feature you mentioned? Still finding that asking it to update memory bank, and follow the details, research I still end up with major things being changed, and the system not understanding what was done previously.

I haven't had a chance to update the base Riper but the Sigma version does have it. When I get back from Europe I'll get some updates going.
