How to edit the image so that when booting first time, NanoPi Neo Air joins to Wifi?

The similar question I would add for BananaPi M2 Zero.
It has WiFi but it's not recognized since the project doesn't worry about providing firmwares in the image.

So, WiFi-only boards are not fully functional since there is no way to setup network on them.

Probably, some kind of hack with an image modification could work:

• mount gunzipped image somewhere and copy host's /etc/resolv.conf to the mountpoint/etc/hosts
• chroot into the mountpoint (e.g., binfmt_misc / qemu-arm should be setup before)
• install required packages with firmwares with apt (e.g. firmware-brcm80211)
• unmount image and flash it (with firmwares installed) to SD-card

But it would be nice to have firmwares preinstalled.
