When connected to SSP-H-20-1C, everything on the control panel lights up

I am trying to connect SSP-H-20-1C and when connecting Wemos d1 control panel beeps 2x and the entire control panel lights up completely.

I can only see the connected device via MQTT but nothing from Intex.

Do you know what to do with it?

There could be several root causes therefore. First things, that come in my mind are

• did you set your type of pool in common.h?
• is the D1 mini set up correctly in your IDE, like 160MHz, etc.?
• assuming you made your own perfboard or so, did you double check the wiring of the pins to the corresponding bus wires?
• if nothing of the above is working ... is the pool working normally, if you disconnect your circuit completely?

• Yes, I set the type in mommon.h
• I programmed in VS code and everything is set correctly there.
• Yes, I measured the connector with an oscilloscope and the connection is correct.
• When I remove the Wemos d1 board from the custom board I made, the pool works normally. So I assume that the error is caused by the Wemos d1 but I don't know why.

Some more ideas:

• Is the pool running ok, if you leave your circuit connected and just pull out the ESP from the socket?
• Do you have a second D1 mini in your lab? Maybe it went fried by tinkering
• Is 5V stable before and after connecting the circuit?
• Is the serial debug output telling something suspicious after power on?

If everything fits, you can go deeper and analyze the communication with your oscilloscope. Golden unit is your pool without modification vs. signaling while connected to your circuit.

Thank you, the communication is now working for me. I replayed the program and I can already see it in MQTT.
