Energie consumption

I quite new to HA and integrations and I like very much the MSpa integration, as I can automate to heat and filter the MSpa in regards to my solar grid power e.g.
On question came up to me, is there no sensor build in the spa who can measure the energie consumption of the spa?
Is there a possibility to get this sensor via integration or is a thing missing by the vendor?
Other vendors who have smart devices always have a measurement for energy consumption.
If that would be possible with the MSpa, too, I could automate things in regards of the consumption, e.g. if consumption of Hot Tub is greater than my solar power I can turn it off.

To measure energy / current etc. I plugged my Mspa into a Tapo P110 smart plug.

You could do that, but it is not recommended to use the PCRD with a smart plug.
Furthermore, when you have a smart device this should be sth. elementary - would it help to get
in contact with the chinese support of MSpa. Maybe they can deliver this measurement out of the
box with a firmware update.

Its been running successfully for a couple of days. The smart switch is permanently on; I'm just using the energy and current data provided by the switch. Heating takes about 8 Amps.
