Google sunsetting Fit API. :-(

hi every one !

i was reading this post and half way down some one said google is sunsetting API for fit bit.

Whats gonna happend fitness dashboard?
Can this project keep going without Fitbit or Do we move on to ther apps?

Google Fit is different from Fitbit, and the APIs are unrelated. Shutting down the Google Fit API, which is what's happening now, was announced way back in 2020.

Furthermore, Google previously made legally-binding agreements with the EU saying that it would keep the Fitbit Web API (the one we're using) around for a minimum of 10 years, so in theory it should stick around until 2030. Although it's quite possible/likely that some of the functionality of the API will disappear over time.
