Hi @beafer007 At present the DCP10 controller is not supported by this project, however if it supports modbus and the modbus register definitions are available then support could be added. This page has info on the process for adding support for a new controller to this project. In the list on the page I can perform step three if provided the info in steps 1 and 2. This page has info on the hardware you would need. https://github.com/jgyates/genmon/wiki/2--Hardware Making a cable: The NetBiter looks like it will work, but it may be overkill as this appears to support relay over cellular. Most people use this project with the pi connecting to the generator using direct serial or serial over TCP. The DCP10 appears to uspport direct serial so going that route would probably the the easiest. Let me know if you have any questions. |

Hi Everyone,
Looking for the cabling needed for a PI 3b setup. Asked a vendor and they wanted to give me a device called NetBiter with a cable called DCP10 RS485 to Mini USB - Modbus Cable ..and that is company. So my question is, I have the DCP10 controller and I'm not sure what cable I would need to connect to the Pi 3b. The connection from the diagrams I have seen says its RS232 over modbus, but I'm still a little confused. If anyone can assist, Thank you very much
