In many authoring tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma), I can pull from the rulers horizontal or vertical guidelines (for example, https://helpx.adobe.com/ch_de/photoshop/using/grid-guides.html). This helps me a lot to align my objects. The guidelines in draw.io are certainly good, but I want to see them all the time, going over the complete canvas. I want to draw multiple ones to create or form my grid. I also want to be able to change or delete them. Right now, I help myself to draw just lines and use them for alignment. However, a proper feature for this would be extremely handy.
