My work deleted after google closed unexpectedly. I have attempted the directions on Flowchart Maker & Online Diagram Software ‘s page: Restore an older version of a diagram However this has been unsuccessful because I do not have the options available that are shown in the web page. These diagrams are crucial and I really need them back so any support would be greatly appreciated. I find this very strange as my laptop went flat at a different stage and all of the data was stored but not when google closed, and I reopened all tabs using “History” then “Restore windows” function. Apologies I don’t think that I am contacting the correct location however I need support as soon as possible and couldn’t find anywhere else to contact. Thanks

when you say "google closed" you mean google chrome? So, you're using app.diagrams.net? Where are you storing your diagrams to?

If you go back into app.diagrams.net it doesn't show you the drafts dialog and ask if you want to restore?

Is the location a standard hard disk, or is it mounted media, sync of a cloud drive, etc?

The safest route is always to save to a versioned file system.

No draft dialog, that would have been perfect for my situation.

I believe the location is onedrive.

In one reply you say you saved to your device, now to onedrive. Could you please check which one it is?

OneDrive

OneDrive has version management. Go into OneDrive, find the file and see if it opens via File->Open in app.diagrams.net. If it doesn't, revert back to the previous version.
