Current state of draw.io for confluence cloud forge app

This is a zero egress, forge app. Installable here. Don't install on a production instance, this isn't even beta quality.

The macro to insert is "draw.io for confluence forge"

It's not currently possible to edit the diagram from page edit mode:

The issue for this is https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/browse/FRGE-513. Without the ability to implement a custom UI for macro editing, there's only the sidebar on the right-hand side. This is the highest priority issue since it's a serious UX problem.

Back on the main page, click "edit" and you're in the editor. The editor isn't properly fullscreen in the browser. It's ok if you have a big screen, but it's too small on smaller screens. Saving displays the diagram in confluence page view in the normal way:

You can then edit again (still not possible from page edit mode) by hovering and clicking the pen icon:

Rough list of other issues:

Fixable

• No dark mode support. - in progress
• Check all exports
• PDF should be local, not remote - in progress
• Page export to word or PDF will fail or not include the diagram. The connect render and image functions need to be implemented in forge - in progress
• Notifications - removed
• Embedding from OneDrive, Google Drive implemented
• Custom contents not migrated, but can be rebuilt.

Partially fixable

• There's no RT collaborative editing. RT API in beta
• Iconsearch doesn't have extended results - might be improvable, but still PNG export issue cross-domain with dirty canvas

Not Fixable

• No plantuml support - not fixable
• No binary visio import - not fixable
• No gliffy import - Already taken most of their customers...
• Third-party domain images embedded. Can't test PNG export but I'd assume will fail as 3rd P domain will make canvas dirty and breaking PNG creation.
• No Lucidchart import

Additional tickets (needed)

• Edit in fullscreen dialog needs to be bigger.
• Anything for cleaning third-party images.
• Anything for collab editing.
