Problem using direct connection among Termostat and heater regulator

Hello, I'm pairing a wall termostat with a heater thermal head regulator.
As far as I remember, using previous software releases I only had to change temperature setpoint on wall regulator and automatically heater regulator updated temperature to the same value than the wall regulator.
I'd like to ask you if there is some missing actions that I'm forgetting or the new release is facing some problems..

You should delete all self established direct connections.
Then create a Heating-Group and put in your wall termostat and thermal head regulator.

After that you should only control the virtual heating device.

I deleted direct programs and created new heating groups.
The new group devices were generated including join information of both devices (wall thermostat and heater actuator).
When I update desired temp, both devices updates at the same time.
When I change temp in wall thermostat also the temp update in both devices.
But when I update wall thermostat or heater actuator by separate in rasp web server it still update itself. So it is mandatory to manage only new joint device.
Also, In home assistant the heating groups appear as new device so it's possible to update it from there.
Summarising, it works better than previously. Because when I updated desired temp using direct program it took more time to update heater actuator and this way is instantly.
So I think this is the correct way to do the join. A question for you. What would be the correct use for direct programs?
