Most user settings unavailable

I have jelly thin view installed on kubuntu to 24.04. When I go to the user settings page the majority of those settings are grayed out and unavailable. For example, I was trying to go to the player settings, and because of what's described above I could not access that. If anyone has any thoughts or ideas, I would love to hear them. Thank you.
