Probably Coolblue, it's still in warranty. After the RUU the phone started behaving normally again, so I'm gonna wait to see what it does.

Hey, I did everything up according to the write-up and got the rom.zip and changed the name to PB99IMG.ZIP, but when I go into the bootloader and it checks my SD card, it won't find it !!! I tried different SD cards and still no luck :( .. any ideas ?

Have you tried making sure the SD is formatted to the way that your phone expects? If you can try formatting it in the phone, and putting the zip file on it again... normally it's just a question of having 1. a compatible SD card and 2. having it properly formatted...

I followed this to unbrick my Desire, using the Goldcard and PB99IMG method. It boots as far as the phone unlock (where you swipe down to unlock the screen) and then reboots, any ideas? The phone is not rooted and has S=ON. Revolution Unrevoked don't see the phone when it is plugged in!!

Strange, if the phone boots, it should "just work". The RUU will reinstate the ROM, and if it crashes at that point it's either a bad flash, or something else. Have you made sure you've done a complete "factory reset" on the Desire, to make sure you have no renmants of old flashes lying around?

Also, for Unrevoked, make sure that you've activated debugging (adb), and that all the drivers are installed in Windows (if you're using that - no experience with it, I use linux)
