I think pdiiif may be exactly what I'm looking for.
My very first issue, though, when I plug my III Manifest URL (https://image.library.jhu.edu/iiif/us%2FL0433_Newspapers%2FL444_5_9_Mar_1690%2FL444_5_CS_9_Mar_1690_0001/info.json) into the sample app at https://pdiiif.jbaiter.de/ , I get an error:
Could not fetch manifest from https://image.library.jhu.edu/iiif/us%2FL0433_Newspapers%2FL444_5_9_Mar_1690%2FL444_5_CS_9_Mar_1690_0001/info.json: i is undefined
Not sure what's wrong. The IIIF Manifest seems to be correct. Universal Viewer renders it: https://underwritingsouls.org/digitized-corpus/advert-in-the-london-gazette-for-a-freedom-seeker/
Any idea why pdiiif is choking on it?
Much appreciated!
Mark
