My visualisation (.vis) of this simple axon+soma swc morphology (attached) has a gap in the soma line, taken from the left hand segment of the soma, presumably related to the process of splitting the soma and connecting the axon, as when I import the identical soma but without axon, it has single segment and does not have a gap. The axon seems to point at the correct place per swc, midpoint of the overall line, and radius looks ok.
I'm trying to work out if this is just visual (a bug? or expected?) or if something undesirable is actually happening to the soma. I'm debugging a soma model which breaks when I attach the axon.
