Replace Identity or add free alternative

I find Duende's Identity really costly and has annual fees. As a freelancer most of my clients can't afford or absorb this cost in small applications.

Is it possible to add https://github.com/openiddict/openiddict-core as an alternative instead?

Read a comment that main branch removed it, I need to verify this on my version as I still get the Duende license error
