Wi-Fi drops 1-4 times per day (long term drops until manually revived) #651

Description

@JonMurphy

Even though I have changed USB wi-fi adapters I am still experiencing wi-fi drops. This happens 1-4 times per day. This started near mid-June. I experienced a similar issue with the last wi-fi adapter. See #647

Today the P-D (v4.8.1) live monitoring graph stoped at July 01 4:54:00 AM:

In the docker log I see LOTS of:

[urllib3.connectionpool] [WARNING] Retrying (Retry(total=3, connect=None, read=None, redirect=None, status=None))
after connection broken by 'NewConnectionError('<urllib3.connection.HTTPSConnection object at 0x7fff6cb36b60>:
Failed to establish a new connection: [Errno 113] Host is unreachable')': /tedapi/v1

I am stuck on how to fix. The wi-fi dropped at July 01 4:54:00 AM but there are no journalctl <warn> messages until Jul 01 05:01:55.

How do I tell if this is a docker issue or a RPi / wifi usb adapter issue?

Here are the docker logs:
docker logs pypowerwall.txt

Setup:

  • PW3 / GW3 / 20 panels / firmware 25.18.1
  • P-D v4.8.1 running on a RPi5 on Debian Bookworm

I have journalctl logs with NetworkManager AND wpa_supplicant running in debug mode that I can add. Let me know if that will help. (I need to redact info).
